Second Sitting of the Defence and Internal Affairs Committee

At the sitting held on 11 October 2022, the members Defence and Internal Affairs Committee considered and adopted the Request to take shorthand notes at the sittings, i.e. to make audio recordings of the 11 October.

In the continuation, the Committee adopted the Proposal of the Government of the Republic of Serbia requesting consent for the provisional implementation of the Agreement between the Government of the Republic of Serbia, of the one part, and the European Union, of the other part, on the participation of the Republic of Serbia in the Union’s Civil Protection Mechanism, for the purpose of being granted consent by the competent Committee for the provisional implementation of the Agreement, pending its entry into force, which was presented to the Committee members by Interior Ministry representative Dejan Radinovic, head of the European Affairs Sector at the Department of Legal Affairs and International Cooperation.

At the meeting, the Committee Chairman informed the members about the memo received from the Serbian Generals and Admirals Club, and the Committee agreed to send a Request to the competent authorities in order to provide information with appeal.

The Committee also decided on the method of keeping the Defence and Internal Affairs Committee informed about the civic petitions received.

The sitting was chaired by Committee Chairman Dr Milos Jovanovic, and attended by the following Committee members and deputy members: Dijana Radovic, Tomislav Jankovic, Milica Nikolic, Haji Milorad Stosic, Borko Puskic, Djordjo Djordjic, Jasmina Obradovic, Miroslav Aleksic, Aleksandar Markovic, Sanja Maric, Zika Gojkovic, Prof. Dr Zoran Dragisic and MA Igor Becic.
