Second Sitting of the Committee on the Judiciary, Public Administration and Local Self-Government

At the sitting held on 28 February 2025, the members of the Committee on the Judiciary, Public Administration and Local Self-Government considered, in principle, the Bill amending and modifying the Law on Civil Servants, Bill amending the Law on Salaries of Civil Servants and State Employees and the Bill amending the Law on Salaries in State Bodies and Public Services, submitted by the Government.

The Committee also considered, in principle, the Bill on the termination of the validity of the Law on the Salary System of Public Sector Employees, Law on Salaries of Civil Servants and Employees in the Bodies of Autonomous Provinces and Local Self-Government Unit, Law on Public Service Employees and the Law on Salaries of Employees in Public Agencies and Other Organizations Founded by the Republic of Serbia, Autonomous Province or Local Self-Government Unit.

The bills were presented by Djordje Dabic, State Secretary at the Ministry of Public Administration and Local Self-Government.

The Committee adopted all the bills on the agenda by majority vote.

The sitting was chaired by Committee Chairman Dr Ugljesa Mrdic, and attended by the following Committee members and deputy members: Branko Pavlovic, Biljana Ilic - Stosic, Natasa Milic Milas, Djordje Komlenski, Risto Kostov, Verica Milanovic, Boris Bajic, Lidija Nacic, Jasmina Palurovic and Jovan Palalic.
