Second Sitting of the Committee on Administrative, Budgetary, Mandate and Immunity Issues
At the sitting held on 24 April, the Committee on Administrative, Budgetary, Mandate and Immunity Issues reviewed four resignations tendered to the post of MP.
The Committee ascertained that the resignations tendered to the post of MP by Bojan Pajtic, Aleksandar Vucic, Miodrag Stojkovic and Jana Ljubicic fall within the situation set out in article 88, paragraph 1, item 2 of the Law on Election of MPs according to which resignation is listed as a reason for the termination of an MP’s term of office before the expiry of the term they were elected for. Therefore, the Committee proposed that the National Assembly note the termination of the abovementioned MPs’ term of office.
The Committee members proceeded to unanimously authorise the Committee Chairman to make undisputed decisions on the exercise of material rights by MPs and officials appointed and elected by the National Assembly (rights guaranteed by the law and other regulations).
The sitting was chaired by Zoran Babic, Committee Chairman.
