Russian Federation Federal Assembly Federation Council Deputy Chairman Visits National Assembly
The Deputy Chairman of the Russian Federation Federal Assembly Federation Council, Alexander Torshin, visited the National Assembly today and in a meeting with the MPs spoke about the parliamentary dialogue between Serbia and the Russian Federation.
On the occasion, the MPs also learned about the work of the International Humanitarian Foundation Saint Sabbas the Sanctified, tasked with offering expert, financial and organisational assistance to the restoration and preservation of temples, monasteries and Christian cultural monuments in Kosovo-Metohija, and headed by Alexander Torshin.
In the course of his visit to the National Assembly, the Deputy Chairman of the Russian Federation Federal Assembly Federation Council met, separately, with National Assembly Deputy Speaker Dr Nenad Popovic, as well as National Assembly Speaker MA Nebojsa Stefanovic, after which he also addressed the representatives of the media at a press conference.
