Paunovic with Montenegrin Delegation about Improvement of Relations between Two Countries

Serbian National Assembly delegation headed by National Assembly Deputy Speaker Snezana Paunovic spoke today with the delegation of Montenegro headed by Jelena Bozovic about the improvement of relations and cooperation between the two countries.

Both sides agreed that there is room for bilateral relations to continue to improve. During the meeting of the two delegations on the sidelines of the 149th Assembly of the Inter-Parliamentary Union, the official results of the population census in Montenegro arrived, which unequivocally showed, according to the statement of the National Assembly, how important it is for both countries to be aware of their unbreakable ties.

The meeting was attended by National Assembly Deputy Speaker Edin Djerlek and MPs Mladen Grujic, Ivana Stamatovic, Ivana Rokvic, Jelena Jerinic and National Assembly Secretary General Srdjan Smiljanic, as well as the Serbian Ambassador in the Permanent Mission to the United Nations in Geneva Milan Milanovic. The general debate of the 149th Assembly of the Inter-Parliamentary Union began yesterday and will last until17 October. The topic of this year's autumn assembly is “Harnessing science, technology and innovation for a more peaceful and a sustainable future".
