PFG with Kazakhstan Meets with Ambassador Madi Atamkulov
On 9 June 2026, the Head of the National Assembly’s Parliamentary Friendship Group with Kazakhstan, Dr Borislav Antonijevic, and PFG member Aleksandar Cotric, met with the Ambassador of the Republic of Kazakhstan to Serbia, Madi Atamkulov.
In the meeting, the officials discussed the current state and prospects of cooperation between Serbia and Kazakhstan, and expressed mutual interest in furthering political and interparliamentary dialogue.
The Kazakh Ambassador informed the MPs about the current political reforms in his country, explaining in detail their goals and tasks.
The PFG Head Dr Borislav Antonijevic, conveyed the PFG and the National Assembly’s full support for the further development of dialogue with friendly Kazakhstan. He particularly emphasised Serbia's interest in strengthening relations in all areas of mutual interest, with a special focus on cooperation in the field of agriculture.
PFG member Aleksandar Cotric praised the constitutional reforms being implemented in Kazakhstan, stressing that the Kazakh experience is of exceptional practical importance for Serbian parliamentarians.
The meeting concluded with both sides pledging to actively work on intensifying contacts and implementing joint initiatives in the coming period.
