PFG with Germany Meets with German Ambassador to Serbia

The Head of the Parliamentary Friendship Group with Germany Prof.Dr.Sci.med Marija Zdravkovic and the PFG members met today at the National Assembly House with the German Ambassador to Serbia Anke Konrad for the first time in the current parliamentary legislature.

The officials discussed the further development of cooperation between Serbia and Germany, especially in the fields of economy, healthcare and education. They also spoke about the current political situation in Serbia and Europe.

Zdravkovic stressed that Serbia is satisfied with the parliamentary and economic cooperation between the two countries and that they should focus on common goals that will ensure better lives for their citizens and a common, peaceful and prosperous, European future.

She said that the fact that the PFG with Germany has 63 members “testifies to the importance the MPs ascribe to the development of interparliamentary relations with their German colleagues”, stressing that the in the coming period a larger number of PFG members would have the opportunity to meet with Madam Ambassador.

The meeting was also attended by PFG members Dr Nada Macura, Aleksandar Markovic and Risto Kostov.
