Ninth Sitting of the Committee on Administrative, Budgetary, Mandate and Immunity Issues

At the sitting held on 25 November 2020, the members of the Committee on Administrative, Budgetary, Mandate and Immunity Issues reviewed the Decision of the Republic Electoral Commission on the allocation of MPs’ terms of office for the purpose of filling vacant seats at the National Assembly.

The Committee noted that the termination of the term of office of MPs Marija Lekovic, Aleksandar Sapic and Aleksandra Camagic, elected from the ALEKSANDAR SAPIC – VICTORY FOR SERBIA Electoral List, left vacant seats in the National Assembly, pursuant to provisions of Article 88 of the Law on Election of MPs.

Pursuant to Article 199 of the National Assembly Rules of Procedure, the Committee reviewed the Republic Electoral Commission’s Decision and certificate of election of MPs Marina Mirkovic, Mina Kitanovic and Nikola Kozovic, from the ALEKSANDAR SAPIC – VICTORY FOR SERBIA Electoral List, ascertained the veracity of the data, and noted that conditions have been met to verify the term of office of the newly-elected MPs.

The Committee members unanimously proposed that the National Assembly, having received this report, note the verification of the term of office of the newly-elected MPs Marina Mirkovic, Mina Kitanovic and Nikola Kozovic.

The sitting was chaired by Committee Chairman Dr Aleksandar Martinovic, and attended by the following Committee members and deputy members: Zeljko Tomic, Luka Kebara, Branimir Spasic, Miroslav Kondic, Sonja Vlahovic, Dijana Radovic, Dr Dragana Barisic, Veroljub Matic, Nebojsa Bakarec, Sandra Bozic and Ivana Nikolic.
