Ninety-Eighth Sitting of the Administrative Committee

At the sitting, held on 22 September, the Administrative Committee considered the Republic Electoral Commission Report for the purpose of filling vacant MP seats at the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia.

The Committee noted that the termination of the terms of office of MPs Veroljub Stevanovic and Sasa Milenic, elected from the For European Serbia – Boris Tadic electoral list, left vacant MP seats at the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia, in line with the provision of article 88 of the Law on Election of Deputies.

Having ascertained the existence of sufficient grounds to verify the terms of office of MPs Ljubisa Sudimac and Jovana Fa, the Committee proposed that the National Assembly note the verification of the newly-elected MPs terms of office.

At the sitting, the Committee decided to withdraw the Proposal of the Decision to revoke the immunity of MP Momir Markovic, considering that the First Basic Public Prosecutor’s Office in Belgrade has dropped the criminal charges against the MP.

The sitting was chaired by the Committee Chairman, Nenad Konstantinovic.
