National Assembly Standing Delegation to PACE at October Session in Strasbourg

The standing delegation of the National Assembly to the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe (PACE) will take part in the organisation’s October session, to be held from 1 to 5 October 2012 in Strasbourg.


At the session, among other things, the PACE members will deliberate on the reports on “Democracy and human rights in the foreign policies of Council of Europe member states: seeking a joint approach"; “The definition of political prisoner”; “Best practices for promoting gender equality in political parties”; “Code of conduct of members of the Parliamentary Assembly”; “The right to freedom of choice in education in Europe” and “The consolidation and international openness of the European Higher Education Area".

The PACE members will also deliberate on the report on “The honouring of obligations and commitments by the Russian Federation" and the parliament members will be addressed by Sergey Naryshkin, Speaker of the State Duma of the Russian Federation.

The National Assembly’s delegation will comprise MPs Ljubica Vasic, Natasa Vuckovic, Milos Aligrudic, Vesna Marjanovic, Stefana Miladinovic and Radojko Obradovic.
