National Assembly Speaker’s Press Release
The National Assembly Speaker, MA Nebojsa Stefanovic talked today to the MPs of the League of Social Democrats of Vojvodina, Bojan Kostres and Djordje Stojsic about the anonymous death threats they had received.
The National Assembly Speaker stressed that such threats jeopardize the safety and security of the MPs. Speaker Stefanovic said that threats to a representative of the Serbian citizens are a blow against the Assembly as an institution.
The National Assembly Speaker requested from the Minister of Interior Ivica Dacic to enable a swift and efficient investigation and do all within his power to ensure the MPs’ safety.
The National Assembly Speaker is sure that the state institutions will ensure peace and security for all Serbian citizens.
