National Assembly Speaker in Official Visit to Andorra

Today, the Speaker of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia, Ana Brnabic, is in official visit to the Principality of Andorra, where she met with the Andorran Parliament Speaker Carles Ensenyat.

“Today, I am is in official visit to the Principality of Andorra and am honoured to be the first Speaker of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia in history to visit this beautiful country, by which we open a new chapter in the relations between the two states.

I have met with Parliament Speaker Carles Ensenyat and Deputy Speaker Sandra Codina. We discussed ways to advance relations, which are not at a high level, but we agreed that both sides wish to strengthen cooperation.

The Principality of Andorra is a member of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe and works on rapprochement to the European Union and the single European market, which is a solid basis for an exchange of experiences and strengthening relations”, said the National Assembly Speaker after the meeting.

Speaker Brnabic will continue her visit to the Principality of Andorra with meetings with the parliamentary Foreign Policy Committee and the Minister of Foreign Affairs Imma Tor Faus.
