“Educating the youth is the highest interest and key requirement for Serbia’s progress, because only an educated Serbia can find its place in modern Europe”, said Slavica Djukic Dejanovic at the St. Sava Academy in Skopje.

"Serbia’s goal is to have outstanding schools, to have an educated population, youth and students who will work toward the development of their country”, stated the Speaker of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia stressing that the mother tongue was the most important tissue connecting the Serbs in Macedonia with their motherland. The vision of a European Serbia is the vision of a modern, free, socially just and safe country, said Djukic Dejanovic at the celebration in honour of St. Sava’s Day - state holiday of the Serbian community in Macedonia.
