National Assembly Speaker at Conference of Danube Parliamentarians
The Speaker of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia, Maja Gojkovic, will be taking part in the 2nd Conference of Danube Parliamentarians titled “The role of the parliament in the EU Strategy for the Danube Region”, in Budapest, on 3 October.
At the conference, the representatives of the parliaments of the Danube region will be discussing the mechanisms of cooperation between national and regional parliaments and governments, as well as between national parliaments and the European Parliament within the EU Danube Strategy (EUSDR).
Among the topics of this year’s conference the parliamentarians will be discussing anti-flood protection within the European Union Strategy for the Danube Region.
