National Assembly Speaker Sends Telegrams of Condolences to French Senate and National Assembly Presidents

National Assembly Speaker Maja Gojkovic sent telegrams of condolences to the President of the National Assembly of France Claude Bartolone and the President of the French Senate Gérard Larcher on the attack in Paris.

“We were shocked and horrified to receive the news of the brutal terrorist attack in Paris which we condemn most severely. Allow me to extend deepest condolences on the behalf of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia and myself for the tragic victims of the terrorist attack.
The Republic of Serbia is firmly committed to freedom of expression and the value of human life, as well as the fight against the global threat of terrorism. You can count on our full solidarity in the defence of these values.
Please accept your friendly support in these difficult moments and firm belief that the strength of tolerance will overcome mindless violence”.
