National Assembly Speaker Receives BiH PA Joint Committee for Defense and Security Delegation

The Speaker of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia, Prof. Dr Slavica Djukic-Dejanovic received a delegation of the Bosnia and Herzegovina Parliamentary Assembly’s Joint Committee for Defense and Security, headed by Dusanka Majkic, Joint Committee Chair.

This is the first visit of a Bosnia and Herzegovina parliamentary body since the constitution of the BiH Parliamentary Assembly. In a very cordial and friendly atmosphere both sides noted that parliamentary cooperation between Serbia and Bosnia and Herzegovina should be improved as soon as possible on all levels in view of the numerous joint issues which should be addressed on the bilateral, regional and wider international level.

Dusanka Majkic once again invited the Speaker of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia, Prof. Dr Slavica Djukic-Dejanovic to visit the BiH Parliament, which she accepted with pleasure.

The delegation of the Joint Committee for Defense and Security of the Parliamentary Assembly of Bosnia and Herzegovina is in a two-day visit to Serbia.
