National Assembly Speaker Meets with Tunisian Parliamentarians
The Speaker of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia Maja Gojkovic received a Tunisian parliamentary delegation currently visiting Serbia, and discussed improving interparliamentary cooperation and overall relations between Serbia and Tunisia, especially in the sphere of economy.
Gojkovic informed the Tunisian parliamentarians about the National Assembly’s work and the reform laws it had passed, stressing that the goal is to attract investment and prompt economic growth.
The Tunisian parliamentarians, visiting Serbia within the programme organised by the International Republican Institute (IRI), agreed that the two countries’ relations are traditionally friendly, hoping to continue and further develop cooperation, especially at the parliamentary level and in the fields of economy and tourism.
