National Assembly Speaker Meets with Spanish Ambassador

The Speaker of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia Ana Brnabic met with the Ambassador of the Kingdom of Spain to the Republic of Serbia, Juan José Sanz Aparicio, who is completing his mandate in Serbia.

During the meeting, the officials discussed the bilateral relations between Serbia and Spain, as well as possibilities for furthering parliamentary cooperation between the two countries.

The National Assembly Speaker thanked Ambassador Sanz Aparicio for his personal contribution to strengthening friendly relations between Serbia and Spain during his diplomatic mandate, as well as for Spain's principled support for the territorial integrity and sovereignty of the Republic of Serbia.

The officials assessed that the relations between the two countries are characterised by close and friendly relations, with room to deepen them further, especially through the development of parliamentary cooperation and intensification of contacts between members of parliament.

The National Assembly Speaker wished Ambassador Juan José Sanz Aparicio all the best and success in his future professional and personal life.
