National Assembly Speaker Meets with EEAS Deputy Managing Director for Western Europe
The Speaker of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia Ana Brnabic met today with the Deputy Managing Director for Western Europe within the European External Action Service (EEAS) Emanuele Giaufret.
Brnabic and Giaufret discussed Serbia's European integration, ongoing reform processes, and all future steps that await our country on its path to membership in the European Union. Brnabic underlined that this is our country's strategic goal.
The Parliament Speaker pointed out that the Voters’ Register Revision Commission held its first constitutive session last week, and that its work continued yesterday in a constructive atmosphere.
Bearing in mind that Emanuele Giaufret was the EU Ambassador to Serbia until last year, Brnabic stressed that he understands the situation in our country very well and respects his work and the support he provides to Serbia.
The meeting was also attended by the current EU Ambassador to Serbia, Andreas von Beckerath.
