National Assembly Speaker Meets with Danish Ambassador to Serbia

The Speaker of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia, Ana Brnabic, met today with the Ambassador of the Kingdom of Denmark to Serbia, Pernille Dahler Kardel.

Brnabic and Dahler Kardel spoke of the Speaker’s upcoming visit to Copenhagen, on Thursday. On the occasion, Brnabic will, among others, meet with Danish King Frederik X.

Brnabic said that Serbia wants to develop even closer ties with the Kingdom of Denmark and she hopes her visit would be a significant step toward it. As key areas of cooperation between Serbia and Denmark, she mentioned modernisation of education, digitalisation and the green transition.

The officials also spoke about Serbia’s European integration and all the reforms the country is conducting on the path to it. Brnabic thanked Denmark for its support, once again stressing that membership in the European Union Serbia’s strategic goal.
