National Assembly Speaker Meets 12 Plus Geopolitical Group Chairman
NARS Speaker Nebojsa Stefanovic met with Robert del Picchia, Chairman of the geopolitical group 12 Plus, gathering European countries within the IPU.
On the occasion, he stated that Serbia is ready to take a more active role in the group and the IPU as a whole. Del Picchia stressed that he supported a more extensive participation of the Serbian parliamentary delegation and pointed out that he would propose that Serbia be represented in the group’s steering committee as the representative of the South-East European region.
The members of the parliamentary delegation Nada Kolundzija and Marija Obradovic continue to take part in the committees.
The NARS Speaker will later meet with the heads of the Argentinean and Australian delegations.
