National Assembly Speaker MA Nebojsa Stefanovic Meets with Montenegrin Assembly Speaker Ranko Krivokapic
National Assembly Speaker Nebojsa Stefanovic also met with the Montenegrin Assembly Speaker Ranko Krivokapic.
The officials exchanged experiences relating to parliamentary work, potential for making certain decisions by consensus, where it was pointed out that Montenegro has had positive results in that respect, and the parliament’s work on the European integration process in Brussels was deemed important.
The Serbian and Montenegrin Parliament Speakers agreed that the two parliaments’ cooperation could be more significant and better.
They also agreed, in principle, on mutual support in decision-making on switching from the PACE monitoring procedure, in view of the fact that both countries are in the monitoring status and accepting the fact that the CoE Committee of Ministers had abolished the monitoring process over Serbia.
In the course of the evening, National Assembly Speaker Nebojsa Stefanovic also met with the parliament speakers of Cyprus, Italy, Tunisia and Luxemburg.
Tomorrow, in addition to his attendance of the Conference, the Speaker will also meet his counterparts from Turkey, Sweden, Spain, Switzerland, UK and Bosnia and Herzegovina.
