National Assembly Speaker Lays Wreath at Monument to Heroes of Kosare

The Speaker of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia, Dr Vladimir Orlic, laid a wreath today, in his capacity as the envoy of the President of the Republic of Serbia Aleksandar Vucic, at the Monument to the Heroes of Kosare.

Speaker Orlic laid a wreath to mark the 24th anniversary of the Battle of Kosare, one of the most difficult in recent history, where 108 members of the Serbian Army lost their lives defending the state border from Albanian forces.

The wreath-laying ceremony was attended by the Minister of Labour, Employment, Veteran and Social Affairs Nikola Selakovic, representatives of the Ministry of Defence and the Republic of Serbia Armed Forces, heroes from Kosare, as well as representatives of association nurturing the traditions of the liberation wars.
