National Assembly Speaker Ivica Dacic Takes Part in 143rd IPU Assembly
The Speaker of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia Ivica Dacic is currently in the Kingdom of Spain, where he will take part in the 143rd Assembly of the Inter-Parliamentary Union, held in Madrid from 26 to 30 November this year.
In the conversation with His Majesty Felipe VI, Ivica Dacic said that no Spanish king had ever visited Serbia and took the opportunity to invite him, as well as the Spanish Prime Minister, to visit.
After last year's break because of the COVID-19 pandemic, this year's IPU Assembly is attended by over 130 delegations, 40 of which at the level of heads of parliament. In the coming days, in addition to speaking at the general debate, the Assembly Speaker will have bilateral meetings with his colleagues on the sidelines of this multilateral gathering.
