National Assembly Speaker Ivica Dacic Sends Telegram of Condolences on Death of Patriarch Irinej
“I was deeply saddened by the news of the death of His Holiness the Archbishop of Pec, Metropolitan of Belgrade and Karlovci, Serbian Patriarch Irinej. The strength of the faith of the spiritual father of the Serbian people was the cornerstone of the spiritual values and noble human acts in the challenging times we live in.
On behalf of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia and my own behalf please allow me to extend our most sincere condolences to You, the clergy and all the members of the Serbian Orthodox Church.“
