National Assembly Speaker Congratulates Passover

The Speaker of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia Dr Vladimir Orlic congratulated Passover (Pesach) to Chief Rabbi Isak Asiel and the Jewish community in Serbia.

"On behalf of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia and on my own behalf, I most heartily congratulate you and all members of the Jewish community in Serbia on the great holiday of Pesach."

Today, we confirm the historical ties our peoples share, forged by common sufferings and our libertarian spirit, with mutual respect and common aspirations for peace, progress and cooperation. I am convinced that on those bases we will continue to nurture friendship and trust, to jointly build a better future for our Serbia and all of its citizens.

I hope you to spend these festive days in well-being, good health, spiritual fulfillment and joy", said the Serbian Assembly Speaker in his congratulatory message.
