National Assembly Speaker Congratulates Kurban Bayram

The Speaker of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia Dr Vladimir Orlic congratulated Eid al-Adha (Kurban Bayram) to the Reis-ul-Ulema of the Islamic Community of Serbia and Grand Mufti and President of the Meshihat of the Islamic Community of Serbia, as well as all Muslim believers.

“To you, the clerics and all the members of the Islamic community, on the behalf of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia and myself, I would like to extend the most heartfelt congratulations on Eid al-Adha.

In the days that once again remind us of the importance of victory over oneself and approaching God, and that the biggest values in any man’s life are charity, compassion and generosity, may unity and togetherness help us overcome all the challenges we face and continue to strengthen our state for the well-being of every citizen.

My wholehearted congratulations on Eid al-Adha with the sincerest wish that you always celebrate it in good health, peace and happiness in our common fatherland of Serbia.
