National Assembly Speaker Cabinet’s Press Release Regarding Announcement in Blic Newspaper

The tendentious and shocking lies of Blic newspaper about the friendship between the Speaker of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia and Vice-President of the Serbian Progressive Party, Nebojsa Stefanovic, and the man who disturbed the motorcade of the President of the Republic is a shameful attempt to discredit and damage the reputation of the National Assembly and its Speaker.

The National Assembly Speaker has never been introduced to or met said “interceptor” mentioned by your “unprofessional” paper.
With its insults and lies Blic violates the basic postulates of journalism ethics and is a disgrace for the honourable profession of journalism.
Must we remind you that truthfulness, justice, impartiality and honesty, correctness, responsibility to society, law abidance, diligent research and morals are the imperatives of the principles of journalism?
