National Assembly Speaker Banned from Visiting Kosovo-Metohija

The NARS Speaker severely denounces the decision to ban him from visiting Kosovo-Metohija to commemorate the Orthodox New Year.

This decision clearly violates the fundamental human rights, security and safety of the citizens on the territory of Kosovo-Metohija, especially those of Serbian nationality.

In addition, limiting the mobility of the Speaker of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia without a meaningful explanation is a most severe violation of the United Nations Security Council Resolution 1244 and EULEX Mission’s neutral status.
