National Assembly Secretary General Attends Meeting of Parliamentary Secretaries of Mediterranean States

The Secretary General of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia Veljko Odalovic took part in the Second Meeting of Secretaries General of the parliaments of member states of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Mediterranean, held in Paris on 28 February.



The Secretary General of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia Veljko Odalovic took part in the Second Meeting of Secretaries General of the parliaments of member states of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Mediterranean, held in Paris on 28 February.

In the meeting at the French Senate, National Assembly Secretary General Veljko Odalovic presented the platform and elements of the long-term administrative cooperation project between the 25 parliaments of the Mediterranean region and international parliamentary organisations. The project aims to strengthen the role of national parliaments in line with the provisions of the Lisbon Agreement and parliamentary diplomacy in the context of the major political changes in the Mediterranean region.
