National Assembly Deputy Speaker Marina Ragus Addresses Conference of Belgrade Faculty of Law Students

The Deputy Speaker of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia and Chairperson of the Foreign Affairs Committee Marina Ragus addressed the students of the Faculty of Law, University of Belgrade, at the conference "Introduction to Law".

She stressed how very pleased she was that the student conference was held on the day when the National Assembly celebrates 88 years since its first session.

"It is important that you decide what your final goal is, I would like it if some of you decided to become members of parliament, to be my colleague. Know that you can acquire the strongest knowledge at our Faculty of Law. You have great professors who will teach you legal reasoning, and that is priceless," said Ragus.

She emphasised that it is important to study and work even when we think that work has no purpose, because only hard, continuous work and the acquisition of knowledge is something that no one can take away from us.

"Your generation has the chance to create a completely new world and to show that this country has something to be proud of," said the National Assembly Deputy Speaker to the freshmen of the Faculty of Law.
