NARS Speaker in Brussels

The Speaker of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia, Prof. Dr Slavica Djukic-Dejanovic will make her first official visit to the European Parliament on Wednesday, 26 January 2011, at the invitation of EP President Jerzy Buzek.



The Speaker of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia, Prof. Dr Slavica Djukic-Dejanovic will make her first official visit to the European Parliament on Wednesday, 26 January 2011, at the invitation of EP President Jerzy Buzek.

EP President Jerzy Buzek will receive NARS Speaker Slavica Djukic-Dejanovic at 11:30 a.m. at the EP seat in Brussels (President’s Cabinet), after which Djukic-Dejanovic and Buzek will address the media. Following the meeting, the NARS Speaker will talk to Eduard Kukan, Chairman of the Delegation for Relations with Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Serbia, Montenegro and Kosovo, and with the Delegation members at 3 p.m. in chamber 3E2.

In his address at the European Parliament session, President Buzek expressed his pleasure at the chance to discuss Serbia’s EU integration with his colleague, Serbian National Assembly Speaker this week and announced her visit to Brussels.
