NARS Speaker Receives US Delegation to OSCE PA Session
Today at the National Assembly House, the Speaker of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia Prof. Dr Slavica Djukic Dejanovic received the US delegation taking part in the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly session in Belgrade.
The NARS Speaker emphasised the importance and significance of the fact that the OSCE PA session is being held in Belgrade which is, among other things, a special recognition for Serbia’s efforts both within and outside of the OSCE.
NARS Speaker Slavica Djukic Dejanovic briefed the American delegation on the parliament’s current work dynamics especially from the aspect of adopting regulations and laws from the European agenda, with a special focus on the issue of restitution which the American delegation was particularly interested in.
OSCE PA Vice-President Benjamin Cardin stressed that the USA supports Serbia’s EU accession.
The meeting was attended by US Ambassador to Serbia Mary Warlick.
