NARS Speaker Receives Romanian Ambassador in Farewell Visit
NARS Speaker Prof. Dr Slavica Djukic Dejanovic received the Ambassador of Romania, H.E. Ion Macovei in a farewell visit.
In a cordial meeting Mr. Macovei stressed that Romania is his homeland, and Serbia is his country. He expressed hope that the relations between Serbia and Romania will continue to improve.
NARS Speaker Slavica Djukic Dejanovic was particularly grateful for the exceptional efforts to further develop overall relations between the two countries, and parliamentary cooperation in particular. The Speaker was also grateful for Romania’s principled support of Serbia’s sovereignty and territorial integrity.
Both officials expressed a wish for the Speakers of the two respective parliaments to meet.
