NARS Speaker Receives OSCE Secretary General
The Speaker of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia, Prof. Dr Slavica Djukic-Dejanovic received OSCE Secretary General Mark Perrin de Brichambaut, visiting our country on the occasion of the 20th anniversary of the OSCE Mission to Serbia, as well as due to the preparations for the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly to be held in Belgrade from 6 to 10 July of this year.
Brichambaut expressed pleasure at the fact that Serbia is to host the Annual Session of the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly and certainty that the meeting will be very successful. The OSCE representatives stressed that the legislative activities so far are a huge step forward and that they are open for further cooperation and assistance. The OSCE Secretary General gave an especially positive evaluation of the steps undertaken at Belgrade’s initiative which have contributed to the improvement of cooperation and normalization of life in the region.
