The Ambassador stressed that during his term of office he would do all in his power to improve the relations between the two countries, particularly on the parliamentary level. The Armenian Ambassador informed the NARS Speaker that the Armenian President is to pay an official visit to Serbia in April, when important bilateral treaties will be signed.

They declared it necessary to improve the two countries’ parliamentary cooperation which might prove greatly beneficial for the further development of bilateral relations between Serbia and Armenia.

In view of the fact that Serbia aims to become a full-fledged EU member and Armenia’s interest in cooperation with the European Union, the officials agreed that both parliaments’ relevant committees should develop cooperation in that direction.
