NARS Speaker Receives Indonesian Ambassador

National Assembly Speaker Prof. Dr Slavica Djukic-Dejanovic received the Ambassador of Indonesia, H.E.



National Assembly Speaker Prof. Dr Slavica Djukic-Dejanovic received the Ambassador of Indonesia, H.E. Semuel Samson recently back from Jakarta and bearing greetings from the Indonesian Parliament Speaker Marzuki Alie for the NARS Speaker.

Samson presented the NARS Speaker with an invitation letter from the Indonesian Parliament Speaker to visit Jakarta and the Indonesian Parliament when her duties allow it. The Speaker thanked the Ambassador for the letter saying that the cooperation between the Serbian and Indonesian parliaments should be improved so as to stimulate overall bilateral cooperation.

The Indonesian Ambassador informed the Speaker that an inter-religious meeting is to take place in Belgrade from 6 to 10 April 2011 which is to gather the religious leaders of all faiths, and be attended by the Indonesian Government’s Public Diplomacy Chief and Minister for Religion. Djukic-Dejanovic expressed pleasure at the fact that such a meeting is organised with the goal of acknowledging the differences among the participants and their people.
