NARS Session Discontinued

The Speaker of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia, Prof. Dr Slavica Djukic-Dejanovic discontinued today’s NARS session, the part relating to parliamentary questions to the Prime Minister and members of the Government of the Republic of Serbia, as the Serbian Radio Television (RTS) had stopped the live broadcast of the session.



The Speaker of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia, Prof. Dr Slavica Djukic-Dejanovic discontinued today’s NARS session, the part relating to parliamentary questions to the Prime Minister and members of the Government of the Republic of Serbia, as the Serbian Radio Television (RTS) had stopped the live broadcast of the session.

Djukic-Dejanovic stressed that article 215 of the new NARS Rules of Procedure envisages live broadcasts on the days when the ministers respond to parliamentary questions. The Speaker stated that the negotiations between the Assembly and RTS regarding the future broadcasts of the NARS work are currently underway and that she expects that the problem will soon come to a satisfactory solution in the interest of respecting the transparency of the NARS work.
