Monograph on the National Assembly of Serbia presented
The second, enlarged and revised edition of Bora Majdanac’s book National Assembly of Serbia - from common-law institution to modern parliament, was presented today at the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia.
The second, enlarged and revised edition of Bora Majdanac’s book National Assembly of Serbia - from common-law institution to modern parliament, was presented today at the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia.
The monograph was published by the National Assembly and the Archive of Serbia.
The enlarged edition differs from the first in covering the period from 2000 to 2004, providing a timeline of Serbia’s parliamentary history from 1804 to the present, and portraying the processes, events and people that marked Serbia’s two-century-long parliamentary life.
A short play was performed by professional actors at the book’s presentation, vividly portraying details of Serbia’s parliamentary life over the past two centuries.
The presentation of the monograph was attended by deputies, representatives of the Archives of Serbia and OSCE, as well as the National Assembly’s Administrative Service.
