Meeting with Cornelia Richter (GIZ)
The Speaker of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia, Prof. Dr Slavica Djukic-Dejanovic received Cornelia Richter, Director General of Planning & Development of the German International Cooperation Institute (GIZ).
The meeting was organised at the margins of the conference Energy-Development-Democracy: Shaping a New Energy Future for
Cornelia Richter stressed the importance of energy policy for economic sustainability adding that the German International Cooperation Institute has assisted the German government in the sphere of energy production and energy efficiency.
National Assembly Speaker Slavica Djukic-Dejanovic emphasised a thorough understanding of energy potentials as a significant economic resource in these times of economic crisis. Infrastructure, agriculture and energy production are our biggest resources and spheres in which we can most quickly become part of the EU, said Djukic-Dejanovic.
