MP Suzana Grubjesic Talks to Danish Parliamentary Delegation

MP Suzana Grubjesic met today with a delegation of the Danish Parliament’s European Affairs Committee, in visit to the National Assembly.

In the course of the meeting the officials discussed Serbia’s progress toward European integration, the vital reform processes Serbia is to undertake, how to address the Kosovo-Metohija issue, the economy, living standard of the citizens and the position of the youth in Serbia.
MP Suzana Grubjesic stressed that Serbia has made considerable progress in the European integration process by opening the technical dialogue on European Union membership. We are now to tackle the very significant task of internal reform, first and foremost to implement the laws harmonised with European legislations, stressed Grubjesic. Suzana Grubjesic also highlighted the importance of addressing the issue of Kosovo-Metohija by diplomatic means and the implementation of the Brussels Agreement.
Talking about the economic situation in Serbia, Grubjesic said that raising the living standard of the citizens is a priority, while agriculture and the car industry offer the most important perspectives for economic growth, and raising the employment rate in Serbia calls for adjusting the education system to the needs of the market.
