MP Jadranka Jovanovic Takes Part in 31st APF Session

Jadranka Jovanovic, Head of the standing delegation of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia to the Parliamentary Assembly of La Francophonie (APF), took part in the 31st session of the APF for the region of Europe in Andorra, 21-24 October 2018.

The session was attended by 20 parliamentary delegations from Armenia, Wallonia-Brussels region, Bosnia and Herzegovina, France, Greece, Hungary, British Crown dependency of Jersey, Swiss cantons of Jura, Vaud and Valais, Luxembourg, Moldova, Principality of Monaco, Poland, Romania, Swiss Confederation and the Aosta Valley region.

The topic of the session was “Sustainable tourism in Francophone countries as a factor of economic, environmental and socio-cultural development”.

The MPs discussed socially responsible, just and sustainable tourism, as well as education and trainings as advantages of the development of sustainable tourism.

The participants were addressed by the representatives of the Government of the Principality of Andorra who spoke about the challenges and tendencies of tourism in Francophone Europe. They also talked about the projects funded by the Principality of Andorra – the CityScope Platform and Changing Places.
