Ivan Karic Takes Part in NATO Orientation Programme

Member of the National Assembly standing delegation to the NATO Parliamentary Assembly Ivan Karic will take part in the NATO orientation programme in Brussels on 27 and 28 October 2025.

The main topics of the programme relate to NATO's political priorities after the Hague Summit, NATO missions and operations, dealing with hybrid and cyber threats, NATO's defence and security cooperation with partners, as well as improving defence investments, capabilities and industry.

NATO Deputy Secretary General Radmila Shekerinska, NATO Deputy Assistant Secretary General Javier Colomina, Assistant Secretary General of Defence Policy and Planning Nick Catsaras, Assistant Secretary General for Defence Investment Tarja Jaakkola, and NATO Assistant Secretary General for Cyber and Digital Transformation Jean-Charles Ellerman-Kingombe are scheduled to address the participants.

In addition, a roundtable will be organised with the permanent representatives of France, Italy, Portugal, Romania and the USA to NATO, as well as with the military representatives of France, Germany, Poland and Sweden to NATO.
