Hundred and First Sitting of the Justice and Administration Committee
At the sitting held on 8 February, the Justice and Administration Committee considered the Proposal of the Decision on the Election of a High Judicial Council member from the ranks of appellate court judges, submitted by the High Judicial Council and the Proposal of the Decision on the Election of Deputy Public Prosecutors, submitted by the State Prosecutorial Council.
The Committee unanimously decided to propose that the National Assembly adopt a decision electing Miroljub Tomic, Kragujevac Appellate Court judge, High Judicial Council member from the ranks of appellate court judges.
The Committee also decided to propose that the National Assembly adopt a decision electing Vladimir Djordjevic, chief-of-staff at the Republic Public Prosecutor's Office and Miodrag Markovic, attendee of the Judicial Academy in Belgrade, deputy public prosecutors at the Basic Public Prosecutor’s Office at the First Basic Public Prosecutor’s Office, Branislava Mihajlovic, lawyer from Nis, deputy public prosecutor at the Basic Public Prosecutor’s Office in Vranje, Vesna Ostojic, secretary at the Appellate Public Prosecutor’s Office in Kragujevac, deputy public prosecutor at the Basic Public Prosecutor’s Office in Kragujevac, Miroslav Rakic, prosecutorial assistant at the Basic Public Prosecutor’s Office in Novi Sad, deputy public prosecutor at the Basic Public Prosecutor's Office in Novi Sad and Milena Pajic Simic, prosecutorial assistant at the Basic Public Prosecutor’s Office in Sabac and Bojan Prstojevic, judicial assistant at the Sabac Basic Court, deputy public prosecutors at the Basic Public Prosecutor’s Office in Sabac.
The sitting was chaired by Committee Chairman Bosko Ristic.
