Aleksandra Djurovic, Head of the NARS delegation to PACE, informed the French delegation that Serbia believes that the Rules of Procedure need to be respected as regards last December’s discussion about putting on the PACE Bureau’s agenda the memorandum on the participation of Kosovo Parliament representatives, the option of participation in discussions and submission and signing of resolution proposals. Djurovic said that EU accession is one of Serbia’s priorities in which regional stability is the chief motivation, and stated that Serbia has demonstrated that it implements all the obligations assumed by the Brussels Agreement in full.

Pierre-Yves le Borgn' said that he supports the implementation of all the rules and regulations, and believes that debate and exchange of views can contribute to better cooperation.

Jean-Claude Mignon said that the French Foreign Affairs Committee has commenced an informative mission for the Western Balkan states, as separate from the Council of Europe, dedicated to each of the Western Balkan states, on which it would be submitting a report on 22 February 2018. Mignon also took the opportunity to mention that Serbia is a long-time friend and ally.
