Gojkovic Sends Condolences on Attack in Manchester
The Speaker of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia Maja Gojkovic sent a telegram of condolences to the speakers of the UK House of Commons and House of Lords, John Bercow and Lord Fowler, on the attack in Manchester.
In these difficult times, we express solidarity and support in the decisive fight against terrorism which threatens the common values of democracy and human rights. We are sure that the strength of unity and resolve to defend civilizational values would overcome the madness of violence and mindlessness.
Please accept our heartfelt support and convey our deepest condolences to the families of the victims, with the hope that the wounded get better soon.”
