Gojkovic Meets with Romanian President Klaus Iohannis
The Speaker of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia, Maja Gojkovic, met today with the President of Romania, Klaus Iohannis, currently in official visit to Serbia.
Gojkovic briefed Iohannis on the National Assembly’s activities relating to the reform processes and bringing Serbia closer to the EU, as well as in the sphere of regional cooperation, which the country is deeply dedicated to.
Gojkovic and Iohannis agreed that the relations between Serbia and Romania are good, but that there is still room to develop said cooperation further.
The President of Romania said it would be particularly beneficial to boost cooperation in the fields of economy, trade, energy and infrastructure.
