Fourth Sitting of the European Integration Committee

At the sitting held on 2 December 2022, the members of the European Integration Committee considered in principle the Bill on the Confirmation of the Financial Framework Partnership Agreement between the European Commission and the Republic of Serbia Represented by the Government of the Republic of Serbia on Specific Arrangements for Implementation of Union Financial Assistance to the Republic of Serbia under the Instrument of Pre-Accession Assistance (IPA III), submitted by the Government.

The Bill was presented by Minister of European Integration Prof. Dr Tanja Miscevic and Ministry representatives Branko Budimir and Sanda Simic Stambolic. They said that the Framework Agreement refers to the new Instrument of European Union’s Pre-Accession Assistance for the Republic of Serbia (IPA III) for the period 2021-2027 and is the umbrella document governing the use of the grant in the Republic of Serbia.

Following a discussion the Committee members proposed that the National Assembly accept the Bill.

The sitting was chaired by Committee Chairperson Elvira Kovacs, and attended by the following Committee members and deputy members: Stanislava Janosevic, Goran Milic, Draginja Vlk, Jelena Obradovic, Zagorka Aleksic, Ana Miljanic, Dr Jelena Kalajdzic, Dubravka Filipovski, Ksenija Markovic, Robert Kozma and Ana Beloica.
