At the sitting held on 22 April, the Legislative Committee discussed in principle the Bill amending and modifying the Republic of Serbia 2009 Budget Law, with its accompanying proposals of decisions granting consent to the decisions amending and modifying the financial plans for 2009 of: a) the Republic Fund for Pension and Disability Insurance of Employees, b) the Republic Health Insurance Agency, c) the National Employment Service, submitted by the Government.

The Committee deemed that the Bill amending and modifying the Republic of Serbia 2009 Budget Law, and its accompanying documents adhere to the Constitution and legal system of the Republic of Serbia.

The Committee also discussed in principle the Bills: amending and modifying the Law on Tax on Use, Possession and Carrying of Goods, amending and modifying the Personal Income Tax Law, amending and modifying the Excise Tax Law, amending and modifying the Court Fees Act, amending and modifying the Law on loan abeyance and write-off on grounds of mandatory health insurance contributions and on temporary cut in pay i.e. wages, net fees and other income in public administration and the public sector.

The Committee deemed that all the Bills adhere to the Constitution and legal system of the Republic of Serbia.

In the continuation, the Legislative Committee considered the amendments submitted to the Bill on Political Parties, the Bill on the Development Fund of the Republic of Serbia, the Bill amending and modifying the Law on Chambers of Commerce and the Bill on the expiration of the Foreign Trade Transactions Insurance and Financing Fund Law.

The Committee deemed all the amendments legally feasible, except for one submitted to the Bill on the expiration of the Foreign Trade Transactions Insurance and Financing Fund Law which was rejected as untimely.

At the end, the Committee also considered the modifications to the amendments submitted to the set of ecological bills, as well as the amendments of the Environmental Protection Committee and pronounced them legally feasible.
