First Sitting of the Local Self-Government Committee
On 30 October, the Local Self-Government Committee held its first sitting convened, under article 26 of the National Assembly’s Rules of Procedure, by the Speaker of the National Assembly, Prof. Dr Slavica Djukic-Dejanovic. Until the election of Chairman the sitting was chaired by the oldest Committee member, Vuceta Toskovic.
On 30 October, the Local Self-Government Committee held its first sitting convened, under article 26 of the National Assembly’s Rules of Procedure, by the Speaker of the National Assembly, Prof. Dr Slavica Djukic-Dejanovic.
Until the election of Chairman the sitting was chaired by the oldest Committee member, Vuceta Toskovic. The Committee members elected Jovan Palalic of the Democratic Party of Serbia –Vojislav Kostunica Deputy Group as Chairman, and Mihailo Puric of the Deputy Group For European Serbia as Deputy Chairman.
